Forcing IE9 users to users to compatibility-mode

Till this point of time Sitecore dosen’t support IE9, And they recommend to use IE9 in Compatibility mode. Which your users should be doing to view site properly. But do you know that you can  force users to use compatibility mode just by Meta tags. Here you go:

<!– Force IE9 to IE8 compatibility mode –>
<meta http-equiv=”X-UA-Compatible” content=”IE=8″ />
<!– Force IE9 to IE7 compatibility mode –>
<meta http-equiv=”X-UA-Compatible” content=”IE=7″ />

Happy Compatibility Mode! 🙂
